It’s coming….I see all the pink, red and purple all over the markets, pharmacies, and shops. Hearts are EVERY where! So, if you’re feeling a little creative and want to make your own little candy hearts, grab some candy molds at your favorite craft store and get busy!
Ingredients:
- 1/2 Cup white chocolate candy melts
- 2 tsp. raspberry liqueur
- red food dye for a bit of pink color
Directions:
Place your chocolate melts in a microwave safe bowl (I like to use a plastic liquid measuring cup since it has a pour spout). Microwave the chocolate at 30 second increments until it is fully melted. Stir in the raspberry liqueur. Just a little note, I had my liqueur in the refrigerator, so it was cold when I added it to the melted chocolate. My melted chocolate got pasty, and I think it was a result of the temperature of the liqueur. Regardless, the hearts turned out great! So, don’t worry if your chocolate changes texture a bit. Add a pinch of red food coloring if you’d like and swirl it around a bit. I wanted my candies to look marbleized so I didn’t mix it too much.
Carefully pour the chocolate in the molds and chill in the refrigerator for about 30 minutes or until set. Enjoy!

Love the hearts. I bet that they would be pretty in a cake for Valentine’s day.
Adorable on cake…or cupcakes! I think I’ll use them on top of some chocolate mousse too!
